Who this policy covers
This policy explains how J&R Bridgeport Concrete Construction handles the information you share when you use our website, call us or ask for a quote. We're a concrete contractor in Bridgeport, CT, and we collect only what we need to answer you and do the work you ask about.
It applies to this website, starting from our home page, and to the calls, messages and form requests that come through it. You can read more about who we are on our About page.
What information we collect
When you fill out our contact form, call us or email us, we collect what you choose to give us. That's usually your name, phone number, email address, the address of the property, and a description of the job, such as a driveway, patio or slab you want replaced. If you send photos of the work area, we keep those with your request.
When you visit the site, some information is collected automatically. This can include your browser type, the device you're using, the pages you look at, how you arrived at the site and a general location based on your internet connection. It doesn't tell us your name unless you give it to us.
How we use your information
We use what you send us to reply to you, schedule a visit, prepare your quote and do the job if you hire us. We may also contact you about that job afterward, for example to follow up on the work or answer a question you've raised.
We use the automatic site information to see which pages people find useful and to fix things that aren't working. We don't sell your information, and we don't use it to send you unrelated marketing.
Cookies and analytics
Cookies are small files your browser stores so a website can remember things between visits or count how it's being used. Our site may use cookies and basic analytics tools to measure visits and page views, so we can see what's working.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work for reading pages, calling us and sending a request.
Who we share it with
Our contact form runs on Tally, an outside form service, so what you type into the form is sent through and stored by that service on our behalf. Analytics tools, if used, also process site visit information for us. These providers handle the information under their own privacy terms.
Beyond that, we share your information only when we need to for your job, such as with a supplier or a permit office when the work requires it, or when the law requires us to. We don't sell or rent your information to anyone.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests and messages for as long as we need them to answer you and follow up. If you hire us, we keep job records for as long as we reasonably need them for warranty questions, billing, taxes and our own business records.
When information is no longer needed, we delete it or remove the details that identify you.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We'll do that unless we have to keep something for a legal or business reason, and if so we'll tell you what and why.
Depending on the state you live in, state law may give you additional privacy rights. If you send us a request, we'll respond within the time the law allows and may need to confirm who you are before we act on it.
Children's privacy
This site is meant for adults arranging work on a property. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13, and if we learn we have, we'll delete it.
How we keep it safe
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us and limit who can see it to the people who need it to handle your request. No website or storage system is completely secure, so we can't promise that information sent online will never be exposed.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our website or the way we handle information changes. The current version will always be posted on this page, and any change applies from the time we post it.
How to raise a privacy question or concern
If you have a question about your information, or want to make a request about it, call us at (475) 225-2242 or reach us through our Contact page. Tell us what you're asking about and we'll get back to you.
